Sally J. Roemer
College and Career Counselor

Sally Roemer is deeply experienced in offering students and their families peace of mind as they navigate the complexities of the college process and highly successful in attaining positive results. Drawing upon her expertise, professionalism, and personal approach, Sally founded Roemer Educational Consulting, LLC to guide students in a personalized manner, helping them discover and secure admission to schools that cater to their individual needs. These are institutions that not only foster a love for learning but also empower students to confront new challenges, connect with peers, flourish as individuals, and ultimately thrive in their chosen careers.  Her personal touch, dedication, and ultimate effectiveness are all reasons clients rave about her being the "very best" college counselor.

For Sally, the college journey is far more than just a final destination; it's a vital tool for unlocking each student's full potential. As a practicing career counselor, she utilizes the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® and the Strong Interest Inventory® to aid students in making informed decisions about majors, extracurricular activities, and campus environments.  These assessments create a sense of self-awareness and ultimately help them make good choices.

Beyond counseling, Sally remains actively engaged in the field by attending conferences, touring university campuses, meeting with admissions officers, and staying abreast of the ever changing college admissions landscape. As the mother of four children who have studied both in Fairfax County, Virginia and overseas in New Delhi, India, Sally brings a personal and global perspective to her work. Based in Northern Virginia, she assists students locally, nationally, and internationally.
